What's included in a new course shell in Blackboard?

What can you expect with a new course shell? Here are our default settings:
- Closed to students
- Associated with an academic Term: Fall, Spring, or Summer
- Set to Continuous duration
This means they will show up with other courses in the same term, but will be closed to students until manually opened in Course Settings. They will then remain open continuously or until manually completed or closed.
New course shells include this default content:
