What's included in Self-Service updates to Blackboard?

Updates from Self-Service include courses and course enrollments of both students and instructors.
Student Enrollments
Trying to add a student to your course, and they’re not showing up? Our automatic updates handle students that enroll in a course and then drop out of it by disabling them on the backend, effectively hiding them in the course. If you need to add them back, a quick Help Desk ticket can fix this.
Instructor Enrollments
Still have a placeholder instructor in your course? Instructors are never removed by automatic update. This allows you to add a co-instructor to the Roster, if you wish. However, instructors cannot be removed from a course by another instructor. If you need one removed, that’s another quick request to the Help Desk.
Course Names
Would you like to change the name of your course in Blackboard, to differentiate it from other sections? Just click the title at the top of the Content tab and type in what you’d like to use. Automatic updates won’t overwrite it, so you can get creative!
