Where can I purchase Microsoft Office at a discount?

There are two ways to get to e-academy to order software at academic discounts:
1. Login through J/CX access (Student or Employee), select Software Center in the menu on the left once logged in, OR
2. Go directly to the e-academy website at owu.e-academy.com (this way still requires your OWU username and password)

Help! I can't type in Word - or any other program

This might look like a Word issue but it is really a Windows issue. What usually happens is that you unknowingly hold down the right shift key for more than 8 seconds. This activates the Filter Key option in the Accessiblity Options. It isn't that you can't type at all, it is the response time is slowed down quite a bit. If they hold a key down, it will eventually type. To turn this option off:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Accessibility Options
3. Uncheck User Filter Keys
4. Click OK

Office 2007 Enterprise System Requirements

• 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher
• 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher
• at least 2 gigabyte (GB) of available hard drive space
• CD-ROM or DVD drive
• 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor
• Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2

Office 2008 for Macintosh system requirements

• Intel, G5, or G4 processor (500 MHz or faster)
• Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later (including 10.5)
• at least 512 MB of RAM
• at least 1.5 GB of available hard drive space

Having problems in Office?

Try Detect & Repair in Office 2003 or Office Diagnostics for Office 2007.

• To run Detect & Repair in Office 2003, select it from the Help menu in any Office application.
• To access Office Diagnostics in Office 2007, select it from the Help menu in Outlook, or select the Options button (Excel Options, PowerPoint Options, or Word Options) at the bottom of the Office menu and then.select Resources on the left and Diagnose on the right.
